Compared to a very violet purple or plum, Le Rouge Pourpre Hendiya keeps a genuine red base, for a warmer result that's still deeper than a classic red. It has a velvety semi-matte finish that combines the intensity of a matte lipstick with the comfort of a creamy texture.

Yes, its pigmented texture gives an intense, long-lasting color while staying comfortable on the lips; a touch-up can be done during the day, especially after meals. To extend the wear, apply a thin first layer to clean, dry lips, let it set for a moment, then add a light second layer if you want more intensity — thin layers keep the result more even.

Its formula was designed to combine pigmentation with comfort: it contains argan oil, castor oil, beeswax and vitamin E, which help nourish, protect and keep the lips supple. Its creamy texture and plant oils make it more comfortable than a very drying matte lipstick; on especially dry lips, we recommend applying a thin layer of Le Baume d'Amour first and letting it absorb before applying Le Rouge Pourpre.

Le Rouge Carmin is a brighter, more luminous, classic red. Le Rouge Pourpre is deeper, with burgundy and plum undertones. Carmin brings more radiance, while Pourpre creates a more enveloping, sophisticated result.
